New Stage's education program is designed to introduce young Mississippians to live theatre of substance and imagination. Included are a touring program, workshops for both teachers and students, acting classes, summer camps, and an internship program. Additionally, New Stage enjoys a close relationship with Millsaps College geared to augment its curriculum in theatre.

Concentration, creativity, and cooperation are only a few of the valuable skills that are reinforced by participating in theatre arts. With a wide array of exercises and games, fun is guaranteed!TOURING PRODUCTIONS
During each school year, New Stage offers two touring productions to schools throughout the state. During the 2007-08 academic year New Stage will tour elementary and middle schools. Junior high schools, high schools, and community college audiences should be enthralled with a Shakespeare selection.WORKSHOPS ON WHEELS
